Job summary

Verano in Prospect Heights, IL is hiring an Agent in Charge for its cannabis retail location. You will greet customers, assist with inventory, and support Cannabis Advisors to drive compliant and efficient store operations.

Role requires 21+ age, willingness to learn about cannabinoids, strong customer service, and flexibility to work varied shifts. You will ensure accurate transactions, proper paperwork, and a clean, compliant sales floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to use office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email, etc.).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist in regular inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Handle cannabis product transfers from vault to Cannabis Advisors.
• Open and close store as directed by AGM or GM.
• Provide product information and education on cannabis products (not medical advice).
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and store front.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders and proper POS documentation.
