Job summary

Mint Cannabis in Willowbrook, IL seeks a Retail Lead to extend the Store Manager's duties on the sales floor. You will supervise shift team members, manage 25+ staff, and ensure a smooth guest experience while driving operational efficiency during your shift.

You will coach the team on upselling, monitor inventory, perform cash reconciliation, and oversee POS code usage, all while adhering to Illinois cannabis compliance standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in the cannabis industry
• Leadership background, for large teams, cannabis leadership a plus
• Experience in sales preferred
• Must be 21+ and possess (or be able to obtain) an Illinois Agent Card

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift team and sales floor operations to ensure smooth store flow
• Coach and provide sales feedback to team, drive upselling and metric performance
• Manage inventory processes to minimize shrinkage and ensure accuracy
• Handle floor openings/closings, cash reconciliation, and POS operations
• Ensure compliance with Illinois regulations during inspections and reduce deficiencies
