Job summary

Story Cannabis is seeking an Inventory Lead in Ohio to support daily inventory control and supervise Inventory Associates. You will ensure accurate counts, proper storage, and compliance with Metrc tagging and internal procedures.

Based in Ohio, you will collaborate with the Inventory Manager, attend weekly meetings, and drive efficiency by improving inventory processes. This role requires at least a high school diploma and 2+ years in inventory, with strong attention to detail and reliable

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of inventory experience.
• Marijuana knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be over 21 years old.
• Must have a valid State ID or U.S. passport.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods.
• Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling.
• Pre-employment background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels using inventory management software.
• Oversee processing and storage of incoming inventory.
• Tag, label, and update system records.
• Assist with daily counts and reconciliations.
• Train staff on inventory handling and compliance.
• Support with data entry and record-keeping.
• Supervise Inventory Associates and delegate tasks.
• Ensure end-of-shift restocks and Metrc tag completion.
• Conduct weekly audits and investigate variances.
• Maintain organized back stock and clean inventory areas.
