Job summary

Trulieve in the United States seeks a General Manager to lead store personnel, oversee inventory, and drive performance while ensuring compliant daily operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will supervise a team of 40+ staff, maintain brand standards, manage budgets, and collaborate with the Area Manager to meet company goals; prior retail and cash-handling experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service
• Must have prior cash handling experience
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices
• Proven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and procedures
• Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and assure that changes are communicated to employees
• Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
• Provide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on service standards and accountability
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Responsible for handling and resolving patient issues and escalations
• Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
• Schedule effectively within labor budget to meet business needs
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
