Job summary

Minnesota Cannabis Services is seeking a decisive, people-first General Manager to lead multi-unit retail operations with a focus on excellence, growth, and data-driven decision making. You will guide store performance, drive engagement, and foster a culture of accountability across teams.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory and cash controls, and compliance, while developing future leaders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve customer experiences and store results.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and coaching abilities for multi-unit retail environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory systems, and financial reporting.
• High integrity, motivation, adaptability, and sense of urgency.
• Customer service experience preferred but not required for cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers and associates to exceed operational and financial goals.
• Oversee scheduling, cash and inventory management, visual merchandising, and compliance.
• Champion a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and coach Assistant GMs, preparing them for future leadership roles.
• Collaborate with corporate and cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safety, consistency, and excellence in every facet of operations.
