Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking a Floor Lead in New Baltimore, MI to support daily operations and lead the store team. You will balance customer-facing duties with supervisory tasks, acting as Manager on Duty when assigned and guiding Cannabis Consultants.

You will mentor staff, educate customers on products and consumption methods while ensuring regulatory compliance, and help drive sales and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old (State requirement).
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated environment with strict compliance standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by following IGNITE Service standards and processing purchases.
• Serve as the primary leadership contact for first-time customers and support staff.
• Mentor Cannabis Consultants and ensure IGNITE Service and operational standards.
• Educate customers on products and consumption methods while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Delegate cleaning and inventory tasks and monitor completion per shift.
• Verify guest IDs and required documents per regulatory requirements.
• Operate POS and retail tech to check in guests, process transactions, and access product information.
• Assist with product returns and apply authorized discounts.
• Complete IGNITE Service observations and report to the General Manager.
• Maintain training with HighQ modules and timely completion of activities.
• Support sales, guest satisfaction, loyalty engagement, and other metrics.
