Job summary

Curaleaf is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will act as Manager on Duty, drive revenue, coach staff, and ensure accurate cash handling and reporting.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in retail, 1 year in supervision, and strong leadership, sales, and customer service skills. Travel to other Curaleaf locations (10–25%) is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail and/or customer service experience in a high-paced selling environment.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of measuring success via financial targets and KPIs.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Experience in a heavily regulated industry is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong salesmanship and revenue-driving experience.
• Strong cash handling and POS operations experience.
• Willingness to learn and share information across audiences.
• Ability to work independently and run the business in the Store Manager's absence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in developing, leading, and motivating a team to deliver a great customer experience.
• Act as Manager on Duty as assigned by Store Management and represent Curaleaf as a brand ambassador.
• Communicate with Store Manager and District Manager to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Model selling behaviors aligned with brand culture to build loyal customer relationships and meet financial targets.
• Monitor and coach customer service performance of team members.
• Supervise store operations, shifts, delegation, and scheduling.
• Oversee cash handling, bank deposits, and ledger/cash reports.
• Analyze inventory trends and supervise inventory management and ordering.
• Maintain knowledge of computer systems and POS (e.g., registers, LeafLogix).
• Ensure adherence to policies and professionalism; handle special tasks as needed.
• Travel to other locations for training/coverage; 10–25% travel.
