Job summary

Wyldcanna in Missouri seeks a Production Lead to oversee daily operations, ensure top quality products, and support the production team when a supervisor is absent. You will train and coach staff, open/close shifts, and maintain a flexible schedule to meet daily deadlines.

The role requires at least 1 year in a food production setting, strong emphasis on sanitation and safety, and the ability to work under pressure while communicating clearly with teammates.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related experience in a food production or kitchen environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of lead or supervisory experience
• Must have experience familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
• Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency
• English language communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack; Jira experience preferred
• Must be 21+ years of age per state regulations
• ServSafe or Food Handler’s Card preferred
• Background check and applicable permits/licenses required

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, cook, produce, pour, deposit, pull, and store all facility consumables and products
• Prepare ingredients, workstations and equipment; perform regular checks to ensure equipment functions correctly
• Maintain QA/QC standards including weights, appearance and flavor profile
• Manage time and team to meet daily production schedules
• Train and coach Production Support staff in procedures and compliance
• Open and close shifts; ensure safety and sanitation compliance
• Assist with Packaging responsibilities as required
