Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Patient Advocate for our Leesburg dispensary to deliver an extraordinary customer experience. You will engage with patients and guests respectfully, explain product benefits, and assist the Management Team with store operations while following policies and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in cannabis retail or related customer service, pass background checks, and are flexible to varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years' experience in cannabis retail or related customer service preferred.
• Ability to accommodate varied shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides knowledge, guidance, and a personalized experience to each customer by explaining potential benefits of Premium Cannabis products.
• Ensures customer questions or concerns are resolved quickly and completely; communicates requests or unresolved concerns to management.
• Accountable for accurately receiving, coordinating, and fulfilling customer orders using POS and inventory systems in compliance with policies.
• Adapts to varied sales volume and maintains a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked dispensary environment.
• Meets/exceeds day-to-day sales metrics by following the customer experience selling cycle with tailored product suggestions.
• Assists management in ensuring procedures reflect regulatory and compliance standards.
• Fosters a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect and curiosity for 'everything cannabis'.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager or Store Lead.
• Takes pride in the appearance of the store, ensuring restrooms and areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready.
