Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong leadership, and familiarity with inventory software. You will partner with cultivation, production, and logistics to maintain accurate stock levels and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience in inventory management preferred.
• Proven supervisory experience in inventory management, preferably in a cannabis-regulated environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in cannabis industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all inventory activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products within the cultivation facility.
• Lead and manage a team of inventory clerks, providing training and support for accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies, maintaining meticulous records.
• Oversee inventory levels, conduct audits, and implement controls to prevent discrepancies.
• Monitor product quality and expiry dates; report issues to the Inventory Manager.
• Prepare reports on stock levels, movements, discrepancies, and other metrics.
• Identify process improvements to streamline inventory management.
• Collaborate with cultivation, production, and logistics to coordinate movements.
• Provide ongoing training to inventory staff and maintain safe working practices.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for inventory handling and access control.
