Job summary

Trulieve in Midway, FL is seeking a Flower Technician I to help ensure incoming cannabis flower materials meet specifications through visual and measurement tests and by rejecting substandard materials.

You'll perform inspections, weigh and package products, label containers, and maintain cgmp-compliant documentation while supporting a clean, safe production area. The role requires 40 hours weekly and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Work with cannabis flower and particulates daily.
• Controls and instrumentation experience.
• Fast-paced controlled environment.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections (moisture, texture, overall quality, size through sort, etc.) of incoming batches of flower and pre roll material.
• Ensure proper bud size per brand standard, weigh out and package flower and/or pre rolls.
• Receive raw batched items and ensure appropriate storage.
• Ensure that all raw batch items in kits received are of good quality and appropriate quantity.
• Sort batch items according to their type and fill out verification paperwork for raw materials.
• Prepare and apply labels to bags/jars/boxes of product manually or with applicator equipment.
• Notify leads of any quality, machine operation, and material challenges when they occur.
