Job summary

Trulieve is seeking a Flower Technician I in Midway, FL within the Processing department. You will ensure incoming cannabis flower materials meet specifications, perform visual and measurement tests, and reject substandard lots.

You will inspect moisture and texture, weigh and package flower and pre rolls, maintain documentation, and uphold cGMP standards while keeping work areas clean. This role offers on-site work with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Work in close proximity to cannabis flower and particulates daily.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections (moisture, texture, overall quality, size) of batches of flower and pre-roll material.
• Ensure proper bud size per brand standard, weigh out and package flower and/or pre rolls.
• Receive raw batched items and ensure appropriate storage.
• Verify that raw batch items in kits are of good quality and correct quantity.
• Sort batch items by type and complete verification paperwork.
• Ensure same type items are stored together.
• Perform counts and complete documentation.
• Seal bags/jars/tubes and check seal quality.
• Label bags/jars/boxes with or without applicator equipment.
• Maintain cleaning and PPE per cGMP and company standards.
• Clean work areas to ensure a safe environment.
• Monitor quality and quantity of items produced and packed.
• Assist automated packaging operations as needed.
• Notify leads of any quality or equipment issues.
• Attend to other duties as assigned by management.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
