Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Personal Care Specialist to assist patients and customers in a friendly cannabis retail setting. You will educate shoppers, discuss product options, and tailor recommendations to individual needs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This role requires 1+ year of customer service experience, ability to work varied shifts including weekends, and reliable attendance. You will handle POS tasks, assist management, and keep the store clean, organized, and stocked

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment
• Educate patients/customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction
• Recommend a safe and effective regimen based on individual needs and stay up to date on product knowledge
• Promote a positive, patient/customer-oriented work environment
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Provide support to management to ensure store operations run smoothly and in compliance
• Ensure local and state cannabis regulations are enforced and upheld
• Maintain stocked and well-presented sales floor
• Maintain hard copy files as required
• Follow security and safety procedures
• Front of House: Check In, Sales Floor, POS, Curbside, Roll Thru; Back of House: Fulfillment, Receiving, Replenishment, Inventory Counts; Maintenance: cleanliness and safety
• Other duties as assigned
