Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking a personable Personal Care Specialist for our New Castle dispensary. You will engage customers, educate them on GTI cannabis products and safe consumption methods, and tailor recommendations to individual needs.

A barista‑like, friendly attitude is essential to connect patients with the right products. You will handle POS transactions, assist with stocking and curbside/online orders, and help maintain store presentation while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer‑facing retail experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all required background checks including state‑specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment
• Educate on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction
• Recommend a safe and effective regimen suited to each patient and/or customer’s needs and stay up to date on product knowledge
• Promote a positive, customer‑oriented work environment
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Support management to ensure store operations run smoothly and in compliance with regulations
• Ensure local and state cannabis regulations are properly enforced
• Maintain stocked and present sales floor
• Follow security and safety procedures
• Perform duties at Front of House, Back of House, and Maintenance stations as assigned
