Job summary

Canine Retreat Inc. is a bustling dog daycare and pet boarding facility located in Harbor City, CA, seeking a customer service receptionist for our front desk. Prior veterinary hospital customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to manage bookings and records.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the front desk during drop-offs and pick-ups.
• Check pets in and out as they arrive and depart.
• Answer multiple phone lines and manage inquiries.
• Book reservations and manage the calendar.
• Organize feeding and medications with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with daycare staff to meet care requirements for each dog.
• Aim for 100% client satisfaction in daily operations.
• Keep the front office tidy and organized.
• Upload daily photo albums to Facebook and maintain posts.
• Handle day-to-day office duties and maintain records.
