Job summary

K9 Resorts of Wayne is seeking a Pet Resort Guest Service Representative to be the face of our award-winning facility. In this role you will greet clients, manage check-in/check-out, handle reservations, and ensure dogs are cared for with a welcoming, VIP experience.

You will perform tours, assist with feedings and medicate dogs as needed, and help with cleaning and monitoring of daycare. Weekend and holiday hours are required; a high school diploma is required, and a friendly, sales-minded

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Weekend and holiday hours are required.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
• Sales mindset and comfort with dogs.
• Outgoing, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow all operational procedures as outlined in the K9 Resorts Operations Manual.
• Greet all customers entering the building.
• Perform check-in/check-out and reservation procedures in the POS system.
• Take custody of pets and ensure they are properly placed in the building.
• Answer telephone inquiries.
• Provide tours of the facility to potential customers when necessary.
• Feed and medicate all dogs.
• Provide personal playtimes for dogs when requested.
• Perform body checks to identify pre-existing conditions and/or injuries.
• Perform sanitation/cleaning of the lobby, boarding, and daycare accommodations.
• Monitoring daycare.
• Bathing dogs.
