Job summary

DLH Corp. is hiring a CANES SME (Engineering Technician IV) to join our team onsite at Naval Station Norfolk.

You will transform system updates into practical CANES training materials, including courseware, labs, and student guides, applying ISD processes to define objectives and ensure alignment with fleet needs. Ideal candidates bring Navy C4I experience, ability to translate complex tech into training content, and a track record of developing and evaluating training programs for fleet

Qualifications

• Experience with Navy C4I systems and training development is required.
• Ability to translate real-world system administration into instructional material.
• Familiarity with structured training design methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Review system updates to align curriculum with CANES baseline.
• Develop and maintain CANES/C4I courseware and labs.
• Apply ISD methodologies to define learning objectives and requirements.
• Use Navy authoring tools like CPM/LOM and AIM for curriculum management.
• Ensure materials reflect fleet operational standards and real-world practices.
• Support pilot courses and fleet training events.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update content accordingly.
