Job summary

DLH Corporation seeks a Technical Instructor / Course Developer to support CANES and C4I modernization. You will review updates, build training products, and translate fleet requirements into practical curriculum, ensuring Sailors are trained to the current operational standard across CANES capabilities.

Classroom and hands-on instruction will be required, with a focus on disciplined course development using Navy tools and structured processes. A strong shipboard network background is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Navy CANES or TACNET-related technical background and hands-on network experience.
• Experience defining training requirements, developing goals and objectives, and building structured programs.
• Ability to translate real-world system administration into effective training materials.

Responsibilities

• Review system updates and configuration changes to align curriculum with the latest CANES fleet baseline.
• Develop, update, and maintain CANES and C4I courseware, lesson plans, student guides, and labs.
• Apply Instructional System Design to define learning objectives and requirements.
• Use CPM/LOM and AIM to develop and manage curriculum.
• Deliver instructor-led classroom and hands-on instruction for pilots and fleet events.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback to maintain accuracy.
