Job summary

DLH Corp is seeking a CANES SME Curriculum Developer to translate CANES fleet updates into practical Navy training content. The role focuses on developing CANES/C4I courseware, labs, and materials for fleet readiness, leveraging structured training methodologies and Navy tools.

Expect rigorous technical standards and collaboration with Navy stakeholders. The position requires shipboard network expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to convert real-world sysadmin experience into training

Qualifications

Minimum three (3) years supporting TACNET/CANES or related Navy C4I systems.
One of: Associate degree or formal electronics training; or High School diploma/GED.
Five to seven years engineering technician/electronics experience depending on education.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical doc to real systems or training.

Responsibilities

Review updates to ensure CANES curriculum aligns with latest fleet baseline.
Develop and maintain CANES and C4I courseware, lesson plans, guides, labs.
Apply Instructional System Design to define requirements and learning objectives.
Use Navy authoring tools CPM/LOM and AIM to develop curriculum.
Ensure training materials reflect real-world system admin practices.
Support pilot courses and fleet training events.
Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials as needed.
