Job summary

Linkup seeks a Country Lead to open and own Canada, based on strong ties to the Canadian AI ecosystem. You’ll work with founders and the GTM team, alternating between Canada and Linkup’s NYC and SF hubs.

You’ll deepen traction, scale the market, and establish Linkup as the default choice for AI teams in Canada. You’ll run end-to-end sales, build strategic partnerships, tailor solutions with Product, and shape the Canadian go-to-market playbook while traveling regularly to major cities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or technical sales (AI, developer tools or data infra a plus).
• Strong network in the Canadian tech and AI ecosystem.
• Closed multi-stakeholder, high-value deals, ideally with technical buyers.
• Comfortable with founders, CTOs, engineers and data teams alike.
• Opened a market, launched an office or been an early GTM hire before.

Responsibilities

• Own Canada end to end: market strategy, pipeline, revenue and expansion.
• Run the full sales cycle, from outreach and discovery to demo, negotiation and close.
• Build relationships across the Canadian AI ecosystem: startups, scale-ups, enterprises, research labs and investors.
• Represent Linkup locally: host events, speak at meetups, and make us visible in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
• Bring Canadian insight back to the US team, and bring US momentum and customers into Canadian deals.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to tailor solutions and feed field insights into the roadmap.
• Build repeatable playbooks for selling to AI-native teams and enterprise innovation groups in Canada.
