Job summary

Daytona State College is seeking a student employee to assist fellow students with studio equipment and Music Production projects. Hours are up to 20 per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with flexibility.

Federal Work Study or Institutional Work Study funds may apply. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits and maintain SAP or a 2.0 GPA. Responsibilities include checking in/out equipment, inventory/testing, cleaning studios, troubleshooting electronics, and logging failures.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits.
• Must currently be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), or a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.
• Transient and Dual Enrollment students are in eligible for student employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow students with studio equipment and Music Production projects
• Check in/out equipment to students
• Inventory/testing of Music Production equipment
• Clean and maintain all studios, classrooms, and lab spaces
• Troubleshoot electronics and log failures for further review
• Successful completion of all first year MPT courses
• Avid Pro Tools Specialist certification
• Dante Networking knowledge and basic skills
• Studio and live audio connectivity
• Be organized, detailed oriented, and adhere to all safety standards
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to work
