Job summary

Daytona State College is seeking a student employee for the ERC Maker Space and Innovation Hub. The role involves managing inquiries, guiding students, and supporting events and maker-space operations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits.
• Must meet SAP or have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Transient and Dual Enrollment students are ineligible for student employment.
• Applicant must submit resume and current course schedule to complete application.

Responsibilities

• Manage inquiries online and in person.
• Provide guidance and support to new and returning users.
• Perform basic office duties: answering phones, taking messages, recording documents, copying materials, delivering items across campus.
• Assist with EET events and functions.
• Maintain ERC Maker Space and Innovation Hub cleanliness and organization.
• Support upkeep and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Verify users have completed required equipment training and ensure safety procedures are followed.
