Job summary

Daytona State College seeks a part-time Student Assistant to support studio and event productions. You will assist in equipment room management, studio setups, and live show production while helping prepare spaces for class activities and events.

Applicants must be enrolled in at least 6 credits, maintain SAP or a 2.0 GPA, and complete a resume with current course schedule. This role is funded under Federal/Institutional Work Study and requires flexible hours Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits.
• Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) or have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
• Transient and Dual Enrollment students are ineligible for student employment.
• Complete application with resume and current course schedule must be submitted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in equipment room management and checkout process.
• Assist in studio and field setups.
• Assist in live show production.
• Prepare space and equipment for class activities.
• Encode video for playback during live productions.
• Manage video file storage on the NAS.
• Assist in creating promotional materials.
• Assist with tours and other program related special events.
