Job summary

Daytona State College is seeking a student employee to assist with front desk and box office operations, delivering excellent customer service in person, on the phone, and via email. You will welcome guests, students and vendors and direct them appropriately, while supporting campus marketing efforts and events.

Requirements include enrollment in at least 6 credits and SAP or a 2.0+ GPA. This position is eligible for Federal or Institutional Work Study funding and offers flexible daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits.
• Must currently be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), or a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.
• Transient and Dual Enrollment students are ineligible for student employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Daily Front Desk & Box Office Operations.
• Provide excellent customer service via phone, email and in person.
• Welcome Guests, Students and Vendors and direct to appropriate location or contact.
• Support all marketing efforts, including social media and promotional materials.
• Assist with NJC events as an usher or other event support team member.
