Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by greeting customers and providing knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, school supplies, apparel, gifts, and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions, including cash, credit, and financial aid purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising, replenishment, and housekeeping.
• Support daily store operations by assisting with inventory, receiving merchandise, order fulfillment, and other operational tasks.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to accomplish daily priorities.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized store environment that reflects the Barnes & Noble College brand.
