Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Campus Store Team Member (Temporary) to support daily operations on campus. You will deliver friendly customer service, help students find course materials and supplies, and keep the store organized and inviting.

This role involves operating the POS system for transactions, assisting with inventory, and collaborating with teammates in a fast-paced campus store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and able to work in a retail environment.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by greeting customers and answering questions.
• Assist customers in locating materials and merchandise to meet needs.
• Operate the POS system to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising and housekeeping.
• Support inventory, receiving, and other daily store operations to keep the store ready.
