Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily campus store operations with a strong on-floor presence, driving sales and delivering exceptional service. You will recruit, coach, and develop the team while managing budgets, inventory, and merchandising to meet business goals.

The role requires proven retail leadership, fiscal acumen, and the ability to collaborate with students, faculty, and stakeholders to elevate the campus bookstore experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience including managing operations and teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily store operations with strong on-floor presence and customer-first culture.
• Own store performance by driving sales, managing budgets and expenses, and analyzing trends.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop store team members for high performance.
• Represent Barnes & Noble College on campus by building relationships with students, faculty, and partners.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory, visual presentation, and workload planning to ensure availability and readiness.
• Analyze sales and operational metrics to forecast needs and drive results.
• Champion initiatives, standards, and loss prevention while ensuring policy compliance.
• Foster an operationally excellent, safe, and customer-focused store environment.
