Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Experience with retail operations including merchandising, inventory, customer service and financial management.
• Strong leadership, recruitment, coaching, and performance management abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations with an active sales-floor presence and exceptional customer service.
• Own overall store performance, driving sales, managing expenses, and analyzing business trends.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop store team members for high performance.
• Represent Barnes & Noble College on campus, building relationships with students, faculty, administrators and partners.
• Lead merchandising, inventory management, visual presentation, and execution of company initiatives.
• Analyze sales and operational data to forecast needs and drive measurable results.
