Job summary

Follett is seeking a Campus Store Manager in Elko, NV to lead all facets of store operations. You will drive sales growth, mentor team members, and ensure top-notch customer service while managing campus relationships and performance metrics.

You will partner with leadership to review financials, maintain brand standards, and oversee daily store activities, including safety and compliance. This role emphasizes people development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
• 3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
• General computer skills.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Vital customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building, a demonstrated ability to influence a team, and customer outreach.
• Travel: minimal - less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by executing promotions, events, and displays.
• Lead in-store course materials activities and collaborate with materials leadership.
• Review store financials with Regional Manager to drive sales and manage shrink budget.
• Approve store markups, markdowns and write-offs within guidelines.
• Ensure asset security and safety, and adherence to policies.
• Facilitate campus/community events and manage store operations.
• Develop cross-functional teams and maintain accountability culture.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.
• Build relationships with customers, faculty, staff, administrators, vendors, and One Team Center staff.
• Respond to inquiries, handle escalated complaints, and maintain neat store conditions.
• Possibly oversee a café or convenience store with health/safety compliance.
