Job summary

Follett is seeking a Campus Store Leader to support store operations, drive sales, and uphold brand standards across campus locations. You will mentor staff, manage scheduling and onboarding, and partner with campus leadership to meet growth goals while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, financial awareness, and daily responsibilities such as opening/closing, inventory control, and event execution.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and store operations for traditional and rush periods, align with company objectives.
• Execute sales promotions and events (store, campus, community).
• Review store financials with leadership and recalibrate goals to drive sales.
• Operate cash registers and store systems with safe cash handling, deposits, and daily closing.
• Maintain inventory control and neat, organized store environment.
• Set sales floor to meet visual merchandise standards for General Merchandise and Course Materials.
• Ensure asset security and safety, adhere to policies.
• Collaborate on in-store course materials activities with leadership.
• Train and coach team members, onboard new hires, and schedule hours.
• Provide coverage during breaks, vacations, and peak periods.
• Create engaging customer service culture and solutions-based selling.
• Greet customers, answer phones, resolve escalated issues, and collect POS data.
• Support campus relationships and day-to-day store communications.
