Job summary

Follett Higher Education seeks a Campus Store Leader to drive sales growth and brand excellence across the campus store. You will mentor a team, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure store operations align with company standards and financial goals.

You will support a Market Leader or Campus Store Manager, manage schedules, inventory, visual standards, and campus relationships, while upholding Follett Values and Core Competencies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Execute store plans and daily operations for traditional and peak periods.
• Execute sales promotions and events (store, campus, community).
• Review store financials with leadership to recalibrate goals and drive sales.
• Operate cash registers and store systems with safe cash handling.
• Maintain inventory control and visual merchandise standards.
• Ensure store assets' security and team/customer safety.
• Review store markups/markdowns and write-offs within guidelines.
• Collaborate with course materials leadership for in-store activities.
• Train and coach team members on standards and policies.
• Schedule team hours and cover breaks during peak periods.
• Greet customers, answer phones, and resolve escalations.
• Drive campus relationship initiatives and event facilitation.
