Job summary

Follett Higher Education seeks a Campus Store Leader to support a Market Leader or Campus Store Manager in driving store operations, sales growth, and brand excellence across the campus bookstore.

You will mentor a team, manage daily procedures, collaborate with campus partners, and ensure outstanding customer service while tracking financial metrics and store performance. This role requires strong leadership and operational discipline with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building, a demonstrated ability to influence a team, and customer outreach.
• General computer skills.
• Travel: minimal - less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and oversee store operations in line with company objectives.
• Execute promotions and events with campus and community partners.
• Review store financials with leadership and recalibrate goals to drive sales.
• Handle cash, deposits, and daily opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain inventory control and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure security of assets and safety of team and customers.
• Lead in-store course materials activities in collaboration with materials leadership.
• Schedule and coach team members, including onboarding and coverage during peak periods.
• Foster campus relationships and communicate store activities to campus partners.
