Follett Higher Education is seeking a Campus Store Manager in Chicago to lead all facets of store operations and drive sales growth while upholding brand and operational excellence. You will mentor staff, manage financial metrics, and partner with campus leadership to deliver an outstanding student experience.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
• 3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
• General Computer Skills.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Vital customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building, a demonstrated ability to influence a team, and customer outreach.
• Travel: minimal - less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Execute operating plans and daily operations for traditional and peak periods.
• Lead in-store course materials activities with course materials leadership.
• Review store financials with Regional Manager to drive sales and meet shrink budget.
• Review and approve store markups, markdowns, and write-offs.
• Ensure the security of assets and the safety of associates and customers, and adherence to policies.
• Partner with campus for events and campus relationships.
• Develop cross-functional teams and drive operational standards to produce business results.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop all team members.
• Deliver solutions-based customer service and engage customers, faculty, staff.
