Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to lead daily store operations and deliver a superior customer experience on campus. You will coach team members, coordinate opening/closing duties, and uphold company standards in a fast-paced environment.

As a frontline leader, you will mentor staff, support merchandising and POS transactions, and help ensure safety, accuracy, and high service levels while fostering a welcoming campus store community.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years retail experience preferred.
• Ability to coach and supervise team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Aufgaben

• Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering exceptional customer service and coaching teammates.
• Assist with opening/closing responsibilities and act as Manager-on-Duty when assigned.
• Assign work, monitor progress, and reinforce store priorities and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of all departments to help customers and meet store needs.
• Support merchandising, inventory, replenishment, and POS transactions.
• Promote safety, loss prevention, and a clean, organized shopping environment.
