Job summary

Barnes & Noble College seeks a Part-Time Supervisor to lead daily campus-store operations and deliver an outstanding student experience. You will coach team members, handle opening/closing duties as needed, and assist with merchandising, inventory, and POS tasks to ensure smooth store performance.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, operational standards, and collaboration with the leadership team to engage students and faculty in a dynamic campus environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and direct team members in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the sales floor, including opening/closing responsibilities and acting as Manager-on-Duty when needed.
• Coach and support store team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, replenishment, POS transactions, and other store operations to meet goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment and uphold company standards.
