Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to lead daily campus store operations, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and support student engagement. You will model service, coach team members, and ensure the store runs smoothly during peak hours.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, facilitating training, merchandising, inventory control, and POS transactions while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and provide direction to team members.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Open/close responsibilities and act as Manager-on-Duty when assigned.
• Coach and support store team members and ensure priorities are met.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, replenishment, and POS transactions.
