Job summary

Barnes & Noble College Morehead, KY is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to lead daily store operations and coach team members, delivering an exceptional customer experience in our campus bookstore. You will support opening/closing, merchandising, and POS transactions while helping ensure a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and alumni.

You will work a varied schedule year-round and contribute to a culture of service, collaboration, and operational excellence in a campus setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and provide direction to team members.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities and act as Manager-on-Duty.
• Coach and support store team members to meet priorities.
• Support merchandising, inventory, replenishment, and POS transactions.
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
