Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support a Market Leader or Campus Store Manager in oversight of store operations across campus locations. You will drive sales growth while delivering brand and operational excellence, ensuring a strong customer service experience.

You will mentor team members, manage schedules, and assist with inventory, cash handling, and end-of-month reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 0-5 years of retail or bookstore experience preferred.
• General computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work activities of sales team members FT/PT and Temporary.
• Trains new team members FT/PT and seasonal staff.
• Greet customers, answer phones, provide information, and resolve escalated issues.
• Receive, verify, and unload orders as necessary.
• Operated cash register and store computer to accept payments and balance cash.
