This position operates on a 4‑on, 2‑off rotating overnight schedule. Work blocks alternate between 8‑hour and 10‑hour shift rotations depending on department schedule cycles:
Campus Safety operates 24hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a the year, so this position requires flexibility for overtime, mandatory shift and holiday coverage, and campus emergencies when needed. This position is eligible for premium pay, including overtime and applicable shift differentials, for work performed during holidays, weekends, emergency snow response, and other qualifying shifts. Schedules are subject to change based on the operational needs of the department.
Updated August28,2026: There are two positions available on the shift listed above. All candidates who have already applied as well as future applicants will be considered to fill both roles. Application review will begin on August31,2026. The pay range is from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
