Job summary

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Police Telecommunicator to serve as a communications hub for non-emergency police, security, and technical support requests. The role requires strong customer service, effective multitasking, and experience with dispatch and public safety operations.

Responsibilities include handling calls, CAD data entry, CCTV monitoring, documentation, and emergency recall support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of relevant work experience required.
• Preferred: Associate's degree.
• Preferred: TCLEOSE Telecommunications Operator certification (TCLEOSE)

Responsibilities

• Answer non-emergency and administrative calls for police, security, and technical support services.
• Enter information concerning technical support calls and security-related patrol activities into a CAD system.
• Monitor CCTV systems during events and security-related operations.
• Compose and distribute shift logs and found property logs; complete center paperwork.
• Respond to emergencies and support recall during incidents; operate across day, evening, and night shifts.
