Mount Holyoke College seeks a Dispatcher for Campus Safety to handle emergency and non-emergency calls, monitor alarms, and coordinate college-wide safety communications. You will collect information from callers, assist officers, and maintain detailed records in the dispatch system while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

The role runs 40 hours weekly with specific shift blocks, starting at $24.05 per hour and with pay up to $26.47 hourly based on experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required or recognized.
• Preferred certifications: CPR, CJIS, APCO.

Responsabilités

• Answer emergency lines and campus operator lines promptly.
• Collect information from diverse callers and relay to responders.
• Monitor campus alarms/cameras and coordinate notifications.
• Activate emergency mass notification system as directed.
• Document details in dispatch software and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist officers and dispatch incidents based on priority and units available.
