Job summary

The Daily Operations Leader at the University of Missouri-Columbia will oversee daily Starbucks operations on campus, guiding staff to uphold service excellence and brand standards. The role involves shift supervision, training, and ensuring product availability across two locations.

Responsibilities include record-keeping, coordinating orders, cleaning and safety tasks, and collaborating with managers to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related role or environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, train, support, and assist all staff and student employees.
• Oversee daily operations in a fast-paced Starbucks environment.
• Maintain detailed records in Daily Records Book for tastings, cleaning tasks, outages, and other directives.
• Ensure all-day product availability and manage daily pulls and prep of back-up products.
• Direct ordering through Starbucks Market and liaise on delivery issues.
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional work environment and storage areas.
• Collaborate with managers to meet department goals and respond to changes.
• Provide prompt, courteous service and elevate customer experience.
• Review weekly store updates and discuss progress with leadership.
• Ensure seasonal launches meet standards and store organization.
