Qualifications

• Must be a full-time undergraduate student at Fitchburg State University enrolled in 12+ credits per semester.
• GPA of 2.0 or higher during the most recent semester and cumulatively.
• Good conduct standing with the university.
• Able to multi-task while providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Shifts will be built around class schedules; flexibility required.
• On-campus living experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate front desk of residence halls as primary contact and resource.
• Maintain confidentiality with information provided.
• Verify identities of individuals entering residence halls.
• Understand and uphold university and housing policies; write reports using Maxient.
• Ensure guests sign in and assist during fire alarm activations.
• Coordinate with on-call Residence Life staff to report concerns or incidents.
• Input work orders into Asset Essentials and assist maintenance staff.
• Attend mandatory training at the start of each semester.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
