The George Washington University is seeking a Fitness Attendant to support the Lerner Health and Wellness Center. You will help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment on the fitness floor and at the recreation desk, assisting GW community members with access and information.

This entry-level role requires little to no prior experience; training will be provided. The position emphasizes customer service, health and safety compliance, and ongoing training within an in-person campus

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position, little to no experience required, all training will be provided.
• Preferred qualifications include background in customer service and knowledge of health & safety codes; willingness to deep clean equipment.

Responsabilités

• Provide welcoming, knowledgeable, and inclusive service to the GW community.
• Serve as an attendant at the recreation desk, maintaining health and safety standards and keeping spaces, equipment, and studios clean and orderly.
• Know, follow, and enforce Campus Recreation policies and procedures.
• Attend meetings and ongoing training opportunities.
