Job summary

Skydio, the leading US drone company, is seeking a Key Account Leader, Campus, to own a territory within a national segment of large universities with dedicated police departments. This full‑cycle, quota‑carrying role requires building pipeline, running multi‑stakeholder deals, and winning procurement while coordinating with Sales Engineering, BDM, Channel, and Government Relations.

You’ll work remotely in the U.S. and plan around the academic calendar.

Qualifications

• 3+ years carrying an individual quota in enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales.
• Proven track record running full-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Strong pipeline development and sourcing.
• Disciplined MEDDPICC qualification and trusted forecast.
• Experience selling with channel partners.
• Daily, systematic use of AI tools in your work.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and based in NW, SE, NE, or SW.
• Experience selling into higher education, healthcare, or government.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory plan: know the institutions in it and why they move.
• Generate pipeline through outbound, events, and partners.
• Run full-cycle deals from discovery to procurement and award.
• Qualify with MEDDPICC rigor and maintain a credible forecast.
• Build consensus across stakeholders including leaders, counsel, and procurement.
• Sell against incumbents and challengers, highlighting Skydio differentiators.
• Plan territory around the academic calendar and use cooperative contracts when possible.
• Collaborate with channel partners and hand off to Mission Success after award.
