Job summary

St. Louis Community College seeks a Campus President to provide academic leadership for assigned school(s) and administrative leadership for the campus.

This role acts as the campus-based chief academic officer, implementing strategic and operational plans while promoting excellence through collaboration across the district. The President will lead cross-functional teams, oversee budgeting and staffing, and work with faculty, administrators, and external partners to advance student learning,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Seven (7) years of full-time experience in higher education, including five (5) years of progressively responsible academic affairs administrative experience.
• Significant post-secondary teaching experience required.
• Earned doctorate or other terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred.
• Experience with bargaining units preferred.
• Community College experience, particularly in a multi-campus system, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic leadership for assigned school(s) and administrative leadership for the campus.
• Leads campus administrative team and advances daily operations.
• Aligns offerings and scheduling to promote student success and efficiencies.
• Directs development and administration of the budget for assigned functions.
• Recruitment, hiring, retention, evaluation, and support of faculty and staff for assigned schools.
