Job summary

Spokane Falls Community College seeks a visionary President to lead SFCC with student-centered, equity-minded leadership and strategic priorities across college operations.

The President provides direction to the Chancellor’s Cabinet, oversees accreditation, budget stewardship, and community partnerships while advancing workforce, transfer education, and lifelong learning across the region.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, leadership, administration, public administration, business, or related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible senior-level administrative experience in higher education.
• Experience in academic and student affairs leadership, institutional planning, fiscal management, personnel administration, and collaborative leadership.
• Committed to community college education, student-centered decision-making, inclusive excellence, accessibility, and student success.
• Knowledge of labor relations, collective bargaining, and personnel practices in a complex organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences and build consensus around priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, visible leadership advancing the college's mission, vision, and values.
• Lead strategic planning, enrollment, retention, and workforce outcomes with data-informed decision-making.
• Foster innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the SFCC and Spokane Colleges ecosystem.
• Oversee accreditation, program review, and compliance with standards and policies.
• Advise the Chancellor on college operations and participate in district leadership bodies.
