Stanislaus State University’s Associated Students Inc. seeks a Governmental Relations Student Coordinator in Turlock, CA. The role educates ASI leaders on city, state, and federal higher-education policies and participates in CSSA meetings to promote campus civic engagement.

The position supports programming, budgeting, and outreach, while mentoring the Student Government Leadership Council. 15–20 hours weekly with a flexible schedule and bi-weekly pay are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled, matriculating Stanislaus State student with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Available Wednesdays 10am–1pm.
• Available Tuesdays 3pm–7pm.
• Attend bi-weekly ASI Board of Directors meetings on Tuesdays at 4:30 PM.
• Work 15–20 hours per week and travel for CSSA conferences.
• Must possess and maintain a valid CA Driver’s License and have access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and execution of Student Center board events, campaigns and activities.
• Assist maintaining the SC Leadership programming budget and expenditures.
• Prepare and submit programming paperwork (purchase requests, hospitality forms, event proposals, evaluations).
• Assist with tracking SC Leadership programming assessment data.
• Assist with SC Board recruitment efforts.
• Attend summer and winter retreats and trainings.
• Assist with tracking of RSO Credits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the SC Leadership Coordinator.
