Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors following campus policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, checking credentials, and reporting unauthorized access.
• Document patrols and incidents in reports and notify supervisors and campus personnel.
