Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures at a government location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify credentials for authorized entry and exit per site requirements.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and disturbances, seeking additional assistance when needed.
• Maintain required reports, logs, and incident documentation and handle equipment per policy.
